Printer’s Row is a small neighborhood in the Loop with a good deal of history. The neigborhood is close to Downtown, the Lake, the South Loop and Dearborn Park.
As the name implies the neighborhood once was filled with printing and publishing businesses. The area still has a good amount of Book Stores but now also has a great mix of restaurants, bars and shops. The neighborhood hosts the Printer’s Row Book Fair in the summer each year.
Most of the housing available is made up of lofts and apartments that were converted from the former printing factories. New condo building have also made there way into the area.
